I love your picture of the 29 Ford coupe. That was a picture of my car in 1955 with my friend Bob Hellmuth hanging out of it. I was 16 at the time and had just replaced the 4 Banger with a stock V8 Flathead of course. Are prints of that available. Iam sure Bob andI would like one. Bob is on the Hamb and may chime in also.

fuzzybear, thank you ....very cool striping work.

dechrome, thanks for the kind words and happy that you came across your old ride. The original image is too small for quality prints, but I would be happy to e-mail the finished file to you if you like. Just send me a PM with your e-mail address.

robber, thank you and great captures from you again this week ........

roseville carl, thank you, always appreciated.........

I have been contacted by a HAMB member that it really isn't cool to post images here of Rat Rods. This is something I didn't know. I know the MODS here don't like the term Rat Rod, but I didn't think there was any hatred of that style of car. It's my feeling that customizing a car is a lot like artwork...... some of it you're going to like and some not so much. My feeling is it's still artwork and can be appreciated by some.

However, if this site really doesn't want this type of art on it, I will stop and only post more traditional hot rod art in the future. I'm not crazy about all the Rat Rods that I have seen, but think many are interesting and I appreciate the work that has gone into them. It certainly is not my intention to post work that no one likes. So unless I hear otherwise, I will not post artwork of Rat Rods on the HAMB and hope that will make the long time members happy .......

Great show everyone and let's keep them coming ..........

I don't much like rat rods. I don't much like patina. So what? Someone's being a snob and I don't like that at all. I say post whatever moves you.
