I'm been putting miles on it but haven't really done anything to it, I'm retrofurbishing a 1955 Spartan Imperial Mansion (43') so I haven't had time to work on it.

Last year on the 4th of July I drove to Louisville, Ky and bought this Mercury I had been chasing it for several years. I kept it a few months and did some upgrades to it then like all the others I sold it...and immediately regretted it.

Flash forward to July 4th 2014 exactly one year to the day later I got the car back and didn't even realize the anniversary of the first purchase until yesterday. I think it's meant for me to keep the Merc.

Wild looking car; its like a '57 Ford from an alternate reality or something. Glad it got back to you.

As bad as I hated to paint the old girl she really needed it to keep from getting in worse shape.

She looks good in that satin dress. Reminds me of a Gordon Lightfoot song. Sweet car.

Your Merc. looks great man! What power brake booster is that and did it bolt right up to your original TREADLE VAC power brake pedal arm ?
