These guys were around taking pics and leaving business cards in your car to tell you where to view pics of your car. Pretty good gallery of shots from show/shine portion of the event.

Thank you to everyone who has been posting pictures from this fantastic weekend. Baron, I really like the picture you posted of my son and me, that one is getting a frame and going on my wall.

Hi Jack. Good seeing you this week-end. Just got home from the Stroker's monthly meeting at Jimmy Mahan's. Send your email address to me ( [email protected] ), and I can email you the full size picture (3008 x 2000).

  12. anybody get pics of the flathead rails???????

  13. @CTFuzz, @Baron, @Bucksnort, & @djtwigsta - Great pics & coverage! ... Thanks for sharing!

On a side-note: Rich Guasco's "Pure Hell" AA/FA (with Brian Hope at the wheel) made two career best runs on Sunday ... First run was a 6.053 ET @ 244.74 MPH ... They pinched the rings on one piston, got it serviced and then ran a 6.165 ET @ 242.06 MPH on the second pass ... Not bad for a little 106 inch wheelbase roadster!

So,is Brian Hope related to Ron Hope with the Rat Trap?
Saturday just got to see 1 pass by the AA/FA's.
Both had problems and Pure Hell was pretty loose.
    Drivers have big ones.

You guys looked way too busy to bother.
Couple of your runs looked like it spun at the hit.
Saw on www.dragracingonline.com that you won the 7.0 class?

    Think I am missing something.
Been awhile since I have posted on the HAMB.Pretty much since the big do over.
I have noticed pics by others will show a message when you mouse over it that says to click for full size photos.
Mine does not do that and when I do it takes me to my Photobucket.
How do you guys put the full size pic deal in effect.
Trying to get used to the new setup here and am having a little trouble.

Instead of Photobucket, use the UPLOAD A FILE tab next to post a reply. This way your pics get loaded right from your computer. I resize the ones posted here to 1280 x 1024. Anything larger than that is over the size limit. Hope this helps.

Yeah went 6.98 first pass on a brutally crossed up run.... changed convertors twice and rear gear trying to get the tire shake under control(we've been fighting it all summer) and spun the tires 30 ft out on the next two qualifiers.....

Changed everything again for first round and car came to life......

Wound up Runner up.....Had guy covered from the start.....was on another low to mid 6.90's straight as an arrow pass and pedaled it to early to keep from running under the 7.0 index...got nipped at the line

That would be Beezer. Bob Beezer. Nice fellow. I talked with him several times over the weekend.

Once you get used to it, it is quicker and easier than getting the pics from your Photobucket album.

Bob Beezer is the same gentleman that was dressed as an Indian on the starting line at Indy back in the 60's.
