    Really?
Cursive is the least of my worries after spending time on internet forums with people of all ages who are profoundly grammatically disabled.

    Let's start by distinguishing:
    There, Their, and They're
    To, too, and Two
    Coarse, and Course
    Disc and Disk
    Break and Brake

    Heres another one, "sick".

Now if you are a post Barrett-Jackson car guy, apparently, it means something like "bitchin". Whats really funny about the word "sick" as applied to cars, usually when a post Barrett-Jackson car guy says a car is "sick", that word also describes what a lot of us older car guys think of it as well, although the meaning we attach to it is somewhat different...:D

W/a tip of the dictionary to BlownOlds and F-One
NOS: New-Old-Stock (others may have better terms!)
Gas Wrench/Acetylene Hacksaw: Oxy-Acet torch set.
"Give-er a drink": To prime an engine.
Swapping Ends: Mating dance, of an Altered leaving the launch pad.
Burp: Bleeding air out of cooling passages.
    Crescent: Poor man's socket set.

Yeah, a real SNAFU that's FUBAR.

How about some terms, the meaning of which no two people completely agree:
    Survivor
    Rust Free
    Original Condition
    Good Condition
    Great Condition
    Running Condition
    Mint
    Driver
    Nice Shape
    Cool
    Fast
    Restored
    Reconditioned
    Rebuilt

Or how the verb "to be" has suddenly vanished from our written internet vocabulary. I constantly read ads that say "needs rebuilt" or "needs restored". Do people talk like that?
    WTF?

VOR. If you're ordering parts from England, Australia or New Zealand, write "VOR" on the outside of your envelope, or put it at the top of your email. Stands for "Vehicle Off Road", meaning the part ordered is needed to return the vehicle to service. Supposedly your order will receive priority attention. (Not that many HAMBers order parts from the Empire, but you never know.)

Is the RCH AN "official" measure, as verified by the US Weights & Measures? I would be curious as I've never had the opportunity to actually mic one.

Ha ha, yeah right! Most customer service personnel in NZ couldn't give a rats whether your vehicle is on or off the road, even if they did read and/or understand your encrypted message

cc= clearcoat Bc= base coat ( the new painting systems then you have single stage , 2 stage and 3 stage systems )

in business cc meant carbon copy : a letter that went to a list of recipients often listed at the bottom
and BC means Blind copy which means it went to people who did not want to listed and also used on the internet if you want to send a letter to someone but not show who besides the ones who you do want to show ( often legal depts or people who do not want there e-mail names and addys known to others )
