  1. Hey, where we're you and Terry? Missed you guys. Don't worry about Fred calling me names, he's still mad about the picture of him with his pinky out eatin' "yuppie tacos". Fred thanks for the pics of today's get together.

I had some things come up and couldn't make it, sad because i'm just a few blocks away. Look forward to finally catching up with yall at the next Spanish Flowers or Torchy's gathering.

In my opinion, Spanish Flower's is an ideal location. Ample parking and it seemed like everyone had no problem getting there. I'm not saying we have to do every breakfast there, but it should definitely be at the top of the list for favorite spots.

Okay, I'll admit I like cruising through downtown, early in the morning.:D Floating through all those sky scrapers, it's like you own the streets.

Fred, sorry to hear that you have been down, could it be the lack of Torchy's Taco's, hope you're filling better. You need a Saturday night out, try Otto's BBQ in the Fountains, Bob & I and even Dan (Txturbo) show up. Kerry from Showplace Classic play the tunes, gives away free drinks & sandwichs. It's just a Saturday night hangout. A coonass once said, A Big Bowl of Shrimp Gumbo cures anything.

Swap meet is at the Humble Civic Center on Sunday. It is all concrete so no mud like Conroe. Usually a pretty good turn out and most of the local vendors show up. I'm always looking for '40 Chevy parts and for a Gremlin/Spirit/Hornet for a stout 400SBC and Tremec sitting in the shop.

There is a real nice set of 820 15's for sale in Dallas on CL for $750. I've been offered a set of new shaved whitewalls with a 2 1/2 inch whitewall for $350.

I'm waiting for the car to be delivered today before I go out to get them.

Day of the Drags is one of the best weekends of the year. . .too bad I'll miss it due to being in Denver for work. Hopefully I can join you guys for breakfast before the end of the year, soo much tinkering and soo little time.

  25. I'm planning on being there, I have to go to Dallas Friday morning to pickup up my wife from a conference. We haven't decided if we are going to drive down Friday night or Saturday morning. Is it me or does it sound like I take the long way to get where I'm going?
