The V shaped bit in the boot is also cut out and replaced by a fresh pice with double beat roll

Very nice work. Your coupe is a business coupe. The hole you guys filled on the passenger side behind the door was where the gas tank filler neck was. Business coupe ment no back seat, longer package tray, and different trunk floor. The 49-54 front end swap is a good idea. Thats what I did and it rides great. I've been over 100 mph in mine and it's fine. Just make sure to pack the re pack the bearings if your driving it lots. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks 47.Poncho!
Youre right the body is from a 47 business coupe, and they aready butchered out the longer package tray and filled the hole in the side panel.
I've got 54 front hubs and 60 corvette drums witch only needed 5 mil turned down and fitted right away.
And the bearings are firmly packed with high grade wheelbearing grease, thanks for the tip.

First coat of real paint, not the final color!!for a basecoat and look for hidden low spots and scratches.
