Well! Got about 500miles since its been back and running! (2 weeks! Wooo!) and ran into my first running issue. Drove to the hardware store today and when I was under heavy load or quick acceleration the truck was missing. Got home and did the basic checks. First thing. FUEL. Glass filter is 95% clogged with rust from the fuel tank. Thought I got it all out but I guess not! Cleaned out the filter and back up and running!!!!

Don't know what kind of gas you have there but the ethanol out here is REAL good about cleaning crap out of your tank. LOL

Dont fart around changing the filter. With dirt like that you need to remove the tank and have it cleaned. Lines blow out too.

The lines are all new and the one to the filter is only about a foot and a half long.... Just gotta burn through this tank and see what I can do cleaning it out! I thought it was cleaned already but I guess not haha :D

  6. Pull the tank and take it to a radiator shop and let them hot vat it,with all that crap in the tank this is not going to stop anytime soon. HRP

Great idea on the picture posture. Looks great, plus you can compare the different builds.

Glad to see your making great progress. ... here's one that's not the best looking 32 right now.... but it will rise up from the ashes. A buddy of mine ... here on the board is 12BAGT had a fire burn his garage last Thursday night. Lost alot of stuff burnt we are planning on rebuilding the pickup. Gotta get the garage rebuilt first.

Holy crap... What sad looking pictures. A shame to see the other 3 totaled. Good luck! And hope, he and everyone else were alright.

ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1409580431.548112.jpg scuff with a scotch "bright" <--- pun hahah, and it will be a perfect match! So excited. Hopefully have a finished picture with it outside in the next day or so. Did not fix anything in the doors because flop is going to be getting the truck and fixing the cab and doors. This is just temporary for the race!!!
