3AW - Melbourne, Victoria. Looks like they're down at the Bay somewhere.
EJ Holden in the left foreground - my first car was an EJ, with a red motor, 3 on the floor, discs, really lowered, flared guards with big wheels stuffed under it, twin carbs, extractors and a dual exhaust. Wow, as an 18 year old, I thought I was hot.
I got picked up by the coppers all the time - record was 3 times in 2 days one weekend, and another time, it was twice in one mile. Never got booked once, just the heat wanting a look at the car.
That was back in the 70's. Simple times.

I wish some one "who was really there" would disclose who really did the work, the hard labor, when the Kopper Kart was put together. And where is it now? I love it, but who was "the behind men" that did the welding, designing, assembling, upholstery, paint, etc..? was Dick Dean involved..? who else?

regardless of how it looks to you, the 2 1934 DeSoto Airflow models offered were a 4-door sedan and 2-door COUPE.

  14. That is correct about it being referred to as a coupe by Desoto. Strange but true. There were only two body types for Desoto in 34, a 4dr and a coupe ! JW

    I think you're right except it is a 58, not a 57.

Thats why you need at least 200-250 lbs. tongue wt. for serious towing.

Yeah man, I got the special order from Sears that came in a white box, no graphics. It's a huge layout. Got a little Pennzoil formula car that is a MONSTER. Makes me want to break it out:rolleyes:

Another great trip down memory lane for me.

I remember the day's when car dealerships had car parts in stock and simply did not order them and tell you they would be in within 3 day's.
