Wish we were there but we broke the motor mounts out of my 54 in Salina so still in the process of how to fix it without taking the motor out

 

Looks like it's becoming a very big outing...and looks like too-ooo many serious racers there now to be much fun for the little guy...But, thanx for the pix...

Thanx WZJUNK, Maybe so on the pix...and I appreciate the invitation, however it's 13.5 hours, one way, from here...a long way to drive for a one day event (besides, my Caddy only gets 14 mpg)...!!! Now, IF there were other things going on Friday and Sunday, a lot like those "road tours" you and your bro put on, making for a longer weekend, then the drive wouldn't be so long and I wouldn't mind the trip then.

Maybe IF I still have the '60 wagon next August, I'll bring it down to see what'll it'll do...

My best pass this year was a 12.52 @ 114 mph. Slicks, a better rollbar, and a goal of 11's for next year.

It would be great to have you come back down for it next year!

Travis, As you know I wasn't able to make it to Joplin this year. I missed it a lot but with your coverage it makes me feel like I was kinda there. Thanks for sharing.

 

Excellent pics!! Being a bracket racer I would really love to attend some HAMB drag events.
