One hell of a Ford. Really nice work. I hope it runs as cool as it looks Congratulations from Denmark Andreas
You did SO much with SO little. Just shows what can be done, when you put your mind to finishing a job. (This is why I hate Rat Rods). Looks killer, even with the extra doors. Any guy in my club would be proud to drive this anywhere. How did you find the car??? Any restrictions, with these old cars in France?? I was there in 2003, with a Porsche team at the The 24hrs of LeMans race. (we won our class!!) Nice country roads for cruising! thanks for all the progress pictures. JT
I'll bet that is a "Coronado Kit". They were faux continental kits available for this era Fords that bolted to the deck lid. I agree, this car looks great. In high school, one of my friends parents had a car just like this, 6 cylinder and all. He had no trouble cleaning up on us guys with flathead V8's, much to our chagrin. (To add insult to injury, it was an automatic as well!)
Wow - that green is fantastic, especially the flake roof! I can't believe you were able to paint in that garage without bumping into it! Tres bien, Stef!
This weekend I decided to change the green color for the white, the roof is going to remain metalflake green, but the rest of body will be white. sanding, sanding, sanding I don't have a pic
