Here's my sweet little '66. I picked it up in middle Ga. from the original owner who owned a Ford Tractor dealership. If you look close you can still read the signs on both sides. It has the powerhouse 240 with the original Cruisamatic. Runs and drives great.

Love these slicks! So I just got mine back from paint and here it is. Still have lots to do and need to put it back together. Ran out of money so still have a bit of chroming to do. I'm also posting a pic of my fuel neck that a friend machined out of aluminum. No haters on billet please ;-). I just wanted something different. And my sons pedal car will match the color scheme!

I'm new here, just looked at all 38 pages, some BEAUTIFUL trucks. Wish all the pictures were still up.
Any how here is my new to me 65..

I picked her up a week or so ago, got it to replace the 66 I had as a kid. Got the 66 from my Dad (he swears it was a 65, but it had a 66 grill, so who knows ). Any how, I never finished paying for it, so he sold it.. Life lesson learned.

Here is a picture of it right be fore Dad sold it. We put a 350 Pontiac engine and automatic in it.. I know, but hey it was cheap and I was just a kid..

We still have the Goat, its my mom's, she is 82, so I am the care taker. It is an original 389/tri-power/4 speed. She bought in 68 from her boyfriend at the time for $850.

Cool truck, and welcome. Best way to ensure your photos don't go missing like all the others is to host them HERE, not on photobucket. If you look back through the missing photos you'll notice most of the code originates there. Photos hosted here for the past 15 years don't disappear, links don't change, policies aren't affected, etc.

  12. All my images are hosted/stored here, and most of em are gone from my Unibody build thread after the board change. I just haven't taken the time to redo them. It happened to tons of threads, there is supposed to be a fix in the works.

No kidding? All of my threads and posts going back years that I've hosted here are still in tact.

Come to think of it, shortly after I rejoined (2007?) I remember a few fellas talking about losing pics hosted here after a recent upgrade. Not everyone lost theirs, just a few.

I think one of the issues is if you post pics in your albums then link them over. The pics are still there but the link address changed slightly so you'd have to manually fix each picture link. Posted within the thread itself seems to be the safest in my opinion.

I know that pics linked from Facebook last about 2-3 months and PB seems to last a few years at best. I've had the very best luck keeping mine here.

Sorry, back to trucks. Just trying to help.

    NICE JOB!
Been a while since I've gotten an alert, so I had to play a little catch up.
Ran across the post where you were about to buy that truck.
    Like night and day, man.
    Very sweet.
Still runnin' the 240 and 3 speed?

  20. I did put the 65 66 trim on the 64. Also removed the 292 and put in the 390, and removed the straight axle and replaced with 65 twin I beam .

Anyone try putting a 59 F100 chrome front bumper on a slick. Looking for different options.
