Forgive me for being a crusty old man but too many late models for me You would have had to be there in the beginning to understand. Pre 48 meant something to us. Don't panic the ones that care will all be dead soon so carry on.

Well had to substitute Duquesne for the Hamm in the beer dept, (Ranunculus don't care as long as it wet n cold).
Glad you're going to make it Sled 54....haven't seen you since the spring!

Hey,hey! Larry doesn't care as long as it's wet and cold (like his women?) I have a refined palate!
If the beer has gold coloring on the can or a cute cartoon mascot-all the better?!

tommy, there's a l-o-n-g dissertation on why there's "too many" late models there.Muscle car guys surely aren't in the masses of participation and traditional is heavy in our ranks.
Sure,we'd like the fields to be wall-to-wall hot rods, but the "late models" help to generate $$$ to contribute to dub, dub, dub dot leagueforcrippledchildren dot com. That's kinda the reason we're there.
Also,we culture friendships and association that lasts decades. Not many shows have been around for 42 years?
C'mon back to the fold, tommy! The water's fine....

not so good from my point of view. had a bunch of non-car people selling flea market type stuff. couple decent cars/trucks in the corral though.
