I want to clean up my `35 wires and I`m thinkin` that dippin` `em will produse better results than having them blasted. Anyone got the formula for this? And how long do I leave`em in ther for? Thanks -Ryan
here ya go.. molasses also go to the search in that website and put in molasses quoted from the website.. A 4:1 ratio of water to molasses. Mix it in fairly warm water. Depending on your local temperatures the cleaning takes 7-14 days. Helps to agitate every few days. If you can remove all grease and paint off the block it will clean those areas also.
Here is the old thread: Molasses INFO. I don't mean to be a smartass, but the SEARCH function works. Give it a try and you will be amazed..... Good luck. JT.
Yep, it works! This is what I first used on some sheet metal for my Hudson. I am now using the liquid which can be purchased at Nurseries or Feed Stores.
Referred to the Search Function. LOL Got a big blank page, other than 404 The server doesn't recognize the request.
20:1. 20 parts water with 1 part molasses works well with the thick treacle variety from the local produce store.
I mix 7 parts water to 1 molasses you can get molasses at most local farm type stores, or at feed mills by the pound just bring your own containor later kb
