I`ve been following along for a while, and although the tarp thing is, um, interesting, I`d like to get back to business. I was looking through some 65-66 Hot Rod Mags, and found a couple of T`s I really like. One was Bud Wakeman`s, which I think nails that 90 inch wheelbase look, and the other was Lance Miller`s T ( one of Andy Brizios) I know Lances is too `70`s, but even the mint green psycho paint loks good on it. Bud`s is much more mid `60`s...FalconGeorge--I know you have these on file ---Which way would you go if you ever went for finished paint, Chip?

    Hey Kiwi!

We do veer a bit off course 'round these parts every now and then, and it's kinda fun... Bare with us!

To answer your question, this will get painted, and will be hugger orange over white primer to get it as bright as I can manage. The interior will be white, the headers white, and the axles and radius rods white with a few flashes of chrome here and there. The only up in the air thing is whether the engine block goes orange or white. I've visualized this color scheme on this car since I was about 10 years old, so that is pretty definite.

Other color thoughts have been: '63 Corvette silver-blue with contrasting parts done in a dark blue metallic, and goes old black primer and let it be....

You can get naked by yourself !! If he wants to bear with us that will be fine.
I don't think he wants to see us all without our clothes. :D

Good god Chip! We have both had a hang-up for orange T buckets with five spokes and white headers since elementary school! What are the odds! On the blue, the color scheme I visualize for my coupester is very close to to that, Caddy Bahama blue with Dodge Lancer blue on engine and running gear. I always thought the Rasmussen Model A looked SO GOOD in bahama blue. One of my all-time favorite hot rods.

More than just a passing similarity to how I visualize the end product on my t coupester, and thats no coincidence..I only rip off the best!

I recall a ('62ish?) Hot Rod feature on a very nice candy blue bucket with contrasting silver blue frame and running gear. I think it is probably posted in this thread somewhere in fact. Very, very sharp looking car, from an age where most frames were painted black.

Awwwww, whose a big birthday boy, WHOSE a big BIRTHDAY BOY!!! (insert cheek pinching, and chuckling)...:p

    Happy birthday Kurt.

  20. Gee, thank's George! However, you can replace the cheek pinching with shop cleaning, setting up my new Quick Lift, and preping to pull the T motor, cause that's about all I got planned in the way of celebrating! Might let the wife take me to dinner Sat. night.

Since there appears to be a great love of Orange Ts here, I present a car that I have loved for many years now.
It's a 27 T that my buddy built and I had the pleasure to ride in again last week.
I'm still smiling and can't wait till I finish my own. :)
This car sowed the seeds of my love of T roadsters and I still think it is great.
He built the chassis and pretty much everything else similar to the route I'm going.
    And yes, it's a steel body :)
It's not totally traditional, but believe me it is a very fun ride, and has plenty of miles on the odometer.

Thank's Chip! Blue one, that looks similar to one my buddies Mark and Rick just picked up and debuted at T Bucket night in El Cajon wed. night.
