I am going to try to post a few pictures form the Good Guys Northwest Nationals. The weather was pretty good on Saturday and the attendance was pretty strong. I didn't see all that many HAMB friendly cars but I did manage to find a few that I could share.

  15. Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. Looks like a good turnout this year. Is that Roger (40StudeDude) and his brother's Cadillac's from Colorado?

Thanks guys I am glad you liked the photos.

I am not sure who owns the Caddilacs but they did have some maps on display that showed they had been on the road awhile to get to Spokane.

Thanks for posting! I went down from Edmonton (1100k) and lost my phone cord, so few pictures. We were in some slightly non Hamb friendly cars, and I enjoyed wandering through the 1100+ cars that were there looking for the trad style I prefer. You seem to have found all the cool ones. Seeing the two Colorado caddys and looking at one of my favourite builds I had followed up close was a treat.

Yep, Fan Attic, that is US...me and my bro drove to Medicine Hat, Canada to meet the Western Power Cruise Guys and then drove to Spokane with them, arrived Friday morn...weather was good and the turnout there was good, too...saw lots of nice cars...

We are currently in a "Quality Inn" in Sandpoint, Idaho, on their computer...heading to Glacier National Park tomorrow...so far we've logged almost 2000 miles with nary a problem...little bit of rain tonite but tomorrow it's supposed to clear up...

Thanx to "The 39 guy" for the pictures of our Cadillacs...I think you liked Dan's flamed Caddy more than you did mine...LOL...!!!

No, I liked both equally I just didn't get the same quality of pictures of yours. That sounds like a fun adventure you guys are on. I can only imagine how sweet and smooth the ride is one of those caddy's.

falcongeorge that Catalina was parked next to my car all day Saturday. The right side of my car stayed clean all day as people were crowding around that black car taking pictures of and rubbing up against mine while taking them:D.It was a first class car and from Canada too.

PKap Yes there were a lot of cars that seemed to almost meet the criteria for a traditional build. I saw several that would have looked very traditional if they had not been running some of the more current custom wheels. Bias ply tires seemed to be a rarity also.

I would have liked to chat with you there, I spent a bunch of time admiring your car. ( I preferred yours over your brother's !)
What kind of milage are you averaging on your long road trip? I'm using a cad 472 in my build, kind of curious what to expect.
    Stay safe on your travels

This is the second year we came to the northwest...last year we did Puyallup and logged 4,552 miles (in both cars)on a two week trip...and yes, sometimes I wish I had an automatic pilot in the car because the ride is so smooth and I could just look around more without having to watch the road ...it's the long wheelbase, ya know...!!!

Not real good mileage with my 500 incher...averaging around 14 or so, depending on the terrain...I think a 700R-4 would help the mileage but I put in a T-400 (I may go to a 700R-4 this winter) ...Dan's Caddy runs the stock 331" and the stock Hydramatic...he gets 19-21 MPG all the time...

Sorry we didn't stick around the cars more PKap...but we go to different events to look at cars -- not sit in lawn chairs...

Totally understand about sitting around, I came with six guys, and some of them hardly moved off of their ass the whole two days. I came back occasionally to see if they were still breathing.
