The little 221 in my 1/2 fast model T racer. Have an old 2x2 intake with 81's and an aluminum flywheel. It should spin up nice .

 

Now i dont feel too bad about my car not being done and polished like all the others posted.

 

Ready to roll!

Mike great job in capturing the look and feel of a true track roadster of the 40's ! Great job in the use of period parts on your project one would swear that this car was built a very long time ago. Can't wait to see this bitchin roadster on the beach .

I'd like to say I am full steam ahead on the road trip, but it looks like I am getting my first shop instead.

TOTALLY! I'm really pumped about that. I'm in 500 sq. ft. right now and needless to say, I've out grown it.

I was pretty excited to drive it out there...I've been wanting to do a trip like that for years now. IT WILL HAPPEN.

but the truth of the matter, right now, at this exact moment, it still needs 20 hours to finish it and I'm not sure if I will have it finished by then either..... With all that might be changing soon....I don't want to get to many irons in the fire, so to speak. Unfortunately that means no camping trip this year. but atleast it gives me a year to build this for the back of the truck.

O wow , just puked a little

 

I'm looking for advise from anyone local to the venue. I'd like to go down with my wife in our motorhome. Does anyone have recommendations where I could park for the weekend and be close to the action? This would be my first to the TROG, so I'm very unfamiliar with the area.
