What is a good swap for 41 ford tailights

hello im smoothin my 41 vert rear fenders.. was thinking early corvette marker lights , small and round.. something more thinner i think will look better.. any suggestions or pics..

 

41 Studebaker taillights (see link below).

41 Studebaker are THE tail light, however at $450.00 a pair, i'm going for somethin' else on my '46. Make a template of the contour / area you want the tail light mounted, off to the local recycler / junk / pick a part with template in hand, find somethin' you like and go from there. DONT use the bolt on Pontiac lights they are even uglier then the originals. (I'm waiting for the flak.)

 

I have seen a couple of 41's with 49/50 merc taillights..also 49/50 ford lights..

 

hmm the merc lights could be preety cool! anyone have photos of that?

 

Problem with '41 rear fenders is that they taper so much that a tail light like a 'vet point outward unless they're tunneled then they can be hard to see.

 

Don't change for the sake of change. The '41 are good looking. Shave elsewhere, starting with the left rear fender chrome, and send it to me.

 

Just picked up a set of 1941 stude taillights !!!! Might let them go for the right offer.
