Right on, Kevan!!! beautiful work, man. You're Mercury is Phenomenal! I thought it was gorgeous and perfect before it's new paint job. I stand corrected. Keep it up!
Both looking super. When they both hit the streets,it will be"Poetry in motion"X two. Good luck.Have fun.Be safe. Leo

Thanks Deano. I was surprised to see the photos of the car at the Midnight Mass, I had no idea that Kevan had done so much to her in the last few weeks. I'm astounded as to how this car is taking shape, the work Kevan is doing is simply stunning, with an eye for detail and quality that makes his work stand out. I hope that the choice of custom touches that we have chosen are also true to the period custom that we are striving for. .............dream in the making
No matter how you do the B "pillar" (window trim) on these, if the chop is right every variation looks good. I think you've done slanted, curved and straight now and they all look fantastic.
Kevan I am once again astonished with the quality and beauty of your work. Keep it up man cause you do have a good eye.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the positive feedback! I should have some updates on Jason's Burgundy merc soon!
Sorry I haven't posted for a while. The two mercs turned into 6 mercs so everything's been hectic! Nathans car is getting ready for paint and is slow process but the doors, hood, and trunk are about ready. Here's some of the parts being worked on at my body guy Charlie's Shop. Since this picture they have all been primed, sanded and blocked out. Jason's roof is nearly done and now Im starting on the stainless window frames. This chop is a lot more aggressive than Nathans but still has a nice flow. Im really happy with how it turned out.
Sledge Hammer Watching your treads, I'm learning a lot. Going to be doing my own work on a mild truck. Your work is Righteous Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App
Just ran across this thread, while at the Apple store, waiting for my wife's POS computer to get fixed. If y'all looked in the dictionary, under perfect chops...you would see a picture of these two. Wow! Subscribed. JT
Your work is spectacular! I have a couple of questions. Do all of the Mercs that you do end up with Flatheads, 3 speeds and banjo rears? It just seems right, but everything I've seen focuses on the amazing body work and I'm curious. On your green Merc (awesome), what did you do suspension-wise to get the perfect stance? Congrats on TRJ. Thanks, Dave
Sheeeesh......nice work man. Love your flair, and style. Outstanding metal work !! Sledge the Merc' Man. Have to remember that for my "if I get lucky" days. Love that era Mercury and Lincoln.
Thanks Dave! Yeah most the cars we do have Flathead engines. Jason's currently has a flatty but will be getting a 49 Caddy soon! Yes the stock trans and banjos work fine so we leave them. The green merc got lowered with a flattened rear crossmember and a modified front spring.
