And nice cleavage it is. Sorry to hear about your dog. We have a lab mix with both knees repaired with plates. That got expensive, but we love her. Oh yeah, the car is cool too. I have a 38 Dodge sedan that I need to get going with. I'll be watching for updates.

Great pics as usual Tony, glad you moved it over here. Hopefully it'll ignite more interest in the Southeast Gasser Association.

  5. Looks great man, that thing is solid!

  6. Kind of dumb to just scrap all those stock parts and make zero effort to find them a home with someone that might actually need them for their car. But that sort of tunnel vision is all too common in this hobby.

Looks great. Subscribed. I'm working on a '39 Olds coupe gasser. What tranny are you going to run?

  10. Man, your gonna need some pistons n rods for that '92 before long.., now who's that guy I know that works @ CP-Carrillo..,hmmm, what was his name? Don't skimp on the weight removal, its free (sometimes) ET/MPH. Think aluminum, fiberglass, and chromoly.., lots of it! Have you thought of a name/lettering/colors yet? This is really cool, and proud of you. I've told Quain more than once, "if you stick to your rules, and stay true to what your doing, people will build cars.., if you build it, they will come". :)

  11. Do you have a build thread? I would like to see what you have going on. My plan for a trans right now - might change - is a G-Force 101a. Tudor is running one in the Can O Worms and he has dyno'd at 730HP, should be plenty of margin for a 392.

  12. Dude yes! I need pistons and rings. I have the ported heads I got from Mitch Rish at the machine shop now. Should have the CC numbers soon. Got a set of Molnar rods sitting here. The block is getting decked next week so the info on pistons is coming together slowly.

  13. Just to keep the pics coming .....

These are nice enough to fondle.

Not married to this yet - its heavier than I thought but it looks cool as hell. ;)

And what really gets the wood out - Palamides that will fit my 9x30 Hoosiers

D-P, no I haven't started a build thread yet. I've gotten quite a bit done and was going to start one when the big "C" (cancer) reared it's ugly head and put things on hold for a bit. I'm planning on an automatic right now to get it going then may switch later.

  19. Ric I will call you when the West Coast wakes up.

Don't even get started on finding a name :D I thought "Dodge This!" was the name. Big A made some visual aids on the club board. Just throwing them in for fun - ignore the blower -

I like "The Shocker" but it might already be out there. "Sack of Hammers" is nice too.

How tall are the ceilings in the shop? That lift looks quite handy.

  26. Sure thing Bean Dip! Lulu is doing good this week. The vet says they can survive but run the risk of gang green if you just let em deal with it on their own.

The lift says 144" required height and the shop is 147" - just made it.

  29. Hey Dogpatch, sorry I missed your call, been in & out of the shop the last couple days. I try you in just a bit.
