Chrome reverse wheels and narrow white walls will help tie in a swinging '60's theme. The number of different patterns and colors is almost too 'busy' on a small canvas. Careful planning of detailing & parts will help a bunch. Bury it in clear!

That will take a lot of clear to get it slick. I can't decide if it will be a street car or drag car. The slicks and style says drag but the engine says street. Maybe a set of chrome Zoomies would help. But overall it looks great, have fun.

I agree with this statement^^^^Reminds me of the late 60's early 70's. Like something I would have seen at Edgewater Dragway. Nice job.

I like it looks groovy. Isn't there a window of time you need to get the clear on?

  15. Throw some 12 spokes up front and some 5 spokes out back and it's a 60's time warp....I dig it

I think it looks exactly like you intended it to look, an early to mid 60's wild ass drag car!
    Success!

I like the "throwback" look, it seems like yesterday that I was seeing cars like that in Hot Rod Magazine. The only downside to the car is that the drivers compartment is darned small, I rode in a Bantam bodied hot rod last summer and at 5'9" I could barely squeeze in, and I am a skinny guy, the owner was taller than me, thinking back he must have been a Circus contortionist:) Looks like a fun ride to me:)

Very late 60's early 70's look and very period correct for the car.

Metal Flake and the lace always looked cool on any drag car.

    I like it. Jimbo

  27. Don't sweat opinions either.
Everyone has one and they won't all be the same.

I've found that no matter how hard I try, nor how great the amount of effort, nor the amount of sacrifice made , you can not make everyone happy no matter what you (I) do. But if I try with just a sliver of thought I can really piss everyone off. Funny how that works ain't it ? :)
