Quick question for everyone whos done this setup...I want to 4 link my rear on the '54 but I only want it dropped about 3-4". My plan is to use either caddy or caprice rear coils/shocks instead of bags. My question is, can the 4 link be installed with the spring/shock crossmember without and cutting of the trunk floor or frame?

  6. I'm looking at doing this kit in the fall when my car gets put away for the winter. I want to keep the rear seat in mine so I'm sure there will be some extra fab work in my future! Anyone have pictures of their set up?

Hoping this thread comes back as well. Just received 2 of 3 boxes from Gambino Kustoms in the mail today. Waiting on the c-notches and air bags to come in.

Not sure how recently they started including shock mounts in their Taildragger Kits, but I'd like to get some feedback on what the most effective way to mount/position the upper and lower shock brackets would be.

Here is a pic of my set up using the Gambino supplied shock mounts. Its in a wagon so less room than in a car as the gas tank is directly behind the rearend. mine are mounted infront of the rearend. (no room behind).

view from under the car (you can see the mounts just to the left of the red poles)

Sadly most of the pictures have gone missing. If anyone has pictures of these gambino kits being istalled, please share. Any information would be welcome.
