Well, it was more like 5 days. The kick off on Tuesday evening, registration on Wednesday morning, hung around the fairgrounds most of the day. Back on Thursday at 6am, ditto on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I took pics of a few cars I like, some in the swapmeet and several around our "tent".......home for the weekend. I have a few from the awards ceremony I'll put in another post. We met up with the "Swedes" and had a great time. They are a bunch of good guys. A couple of them even brought their wives. The built top notch cars and are down to earth humble people. We tried to make sure they felt welcome in our country. Its not just about cars. One of them picked up the long distance award, Martin picked up the top 100 pick most of you know about along with a pro's pick.......the car was every bit that good. Enjoy the pics and ask whatever questions you have. I'll add some pics later (this thread would allow only 15 pics)
Thanks for sharing the pics. No matter how much you look, there are cars you miss. I like that 32 hoodless c-dan also. I went Thursday - Saturday. One of my most pleasurable Nats due to the great weather.
I'm thinkin we need a meet and greet. I may work on doin that next year. I saw a couple of you there..in motion but didn't catch you around your car. Tim
Nice pics thanks for posting them. The Swedes all had super nice cars, and as you said were great guys. Martin told me he cast his own wheels for that coupe! I also dug the heck out of the bagged '40 vert. I almost left with another '40 coupe that I saw for sale while I was there, but my judgement (and wife) got the better of me.
