    happy early birthday to me

well finally got my 36 3window home. ive been after this car for about two years after the family showing me the car when i went to look at their unmolested 32 5 window UNMOLESTED deuce. i couldnt afford the 32 (sold for 26k) both of these cars were a family friends who passed away

butch (deceased) originally came from california after returning from Vietnam, with him he brought this 36, drove it around for years and then decided to update it a little bit....drove it around, then decided to put a big block in it, well after disassembling the car other things took precedence such as a 69 z28, 66 chevy 2 and a 67 427 tripower vette to name a few

in the pictures the front fenders you see on it are an extra set he had (good fenders at my house) the whole body still wears its original black lacquer paint i found every part to the car except the stainless grill surround

untouched since late 60s early 70s

specs: 67-69 350 engine with 69 double hump z/28 heads
    65-67 close ratio muncie m21 4 speed
    55-57 chevy rear end
    dago dropped axle
    juice brakes
an early maybe Mr.gasket electric fuel pump
    all stewart warner gauges

ill throw some pics of the 32 in after words

my boss dad and friend are in most pictures, im in the picture sitting in drivers seat

$26K for the deuce was a bargain...wow! However, I'm really digging on the '36 - I like them way better than deuces anyway and it's a 3 window to boot. Have fun working on it.

I'm probably gonna go with same vibe multi carb setup etc as in my model A stay with a 60s vibe....or go opposite and tail drag it,........ Tagman it has been exciting week. Been in this deal/dance with his wife..for an older lady she sure was busy...all in all its been a little over 2 years from first look..to deal. To final buy and pickup of the car

Congrats on the cool score. Very clean body, for a PA car( edit: now realize it's a Calf body). That fuel pump looks to be a Stewart-Warner 240A model. The rumble uph material looks to be '64 SS Impala rear seat. Sure will make for a neat rod.

Awesome find! There's nothing quite like unearthing an old car from where it has rested for many years. Good luck with whatever you choose to do with it. RO

Thanks to everyone's hospitality, it's nice to see people be happy for someone instead of the people around my town mad because they don't have the car or something or look down on me because I'm 24 , this car wont be going anywhere,it's staying with me I'll have some updates soon as I've already been working on it
