Anyone heard from Bluto recently? I spoke to him on Skype when he moved to Poland and saw him at Retromobile Paris about 3 years ago. That guy had some cool stuff and knew anyone worth knowing....
Hey, wasn'tthat big ugly brute that used to whip up on Popeye in the old movie cartoons named Bluto? This post just brought back that old memory. Jimmie
You are correct his name was Bluto until 1957 and then it changed to Brutus. Although this has nothing to do with Jim,a little more brain numbing nonsense ,,,I believe in the 80's a comic book company did a piece and described Bluto & Brutus as twin brothers. HRP
Still alive! I gave my body and woodwork projects to leave me free to do engines and maintenance on our collection……. In a few weeks this will show up here and after all these years (late 70's) I'll get it running. I'll need to go to the barn and send them another one This is a one-off fabric cover body. Left BMW as a rolling chassis. Genuine special bodied car. It makes me feel very good to see it today and we'll feel even better to drive! http://www.simon-coach.com/the-projects
Very nice car - those guys look to have bucket loads of talent. The Teardrop looks amazing, terrific profile. Glad to hear you're still posting. I always enjoyed hearing your take on how it was... Do you still go to Retromobile Paris?
Nice to hear from my friend Bluto. I'd rather rummage through Bluto's collection than go to Disneyland. He has the coolest stuff.
