I see the thread is still up so I'll post a WIP I just started tonight.
    ACR034.jpg
This is a small "study" in acrylic, trying to work on my style. I'm about an hour into this one, probably a couple hours to go. I'm trying to learn to use thick paint yet still control it and be a little more "free" with color for an impressionist result. I love impressionist style paintings, my motto is "A painting should look like a painting." The subject is one of my favorite local hot rods. If this thread stays up for an extra day or two like it has the past couple weekends hopefully I'll be able to post it finished, if not........until next Friday.

Thanks for posting all your awesome work everybody!

Sorry for te impending photo BBQ <- auto correct to funny haha, meant bomb, but I'm super stoked on theses!

Had the art opening last night showing these 15 paintings and it went very well.

They are all 12x24 acrylic and then I have 10x20 prints of them all on archive grade paper that feels great in hand.

I'll be spammy for a minute and say the remaining unsold paintings are $300 and the prints are $50 for one and $80 for two.

Ok enough already let's see hotrods!

Gary C - your creativity never ceases to amaze me.
Bob - the bad ass on the bike is super well done.
    Cruisin' - all home runs!
Beebing - that purple Dodge gasser really jumps off the screen.
kenmo - great shots from the Atlantic Nationals. I especially like that top in motion shot of the 1951 Chevy.
31hotrodsedan man - I love both of those Caddy pictures.
LowCab - awesome painting of that flathead.
    Great hood ornament shots David.
Mark (jigger) the Oldsillac 88 Rocket rocks!
Steve (spoggie) I love the black light look style.

Last but not least - super cool paintings Tim! Everyone - I saw Tim's prints and originals in the suffocating heat of last week's KKOA Leadsled Spectacular and they were truly sensational.

Thanks a lot for your positive comments on my new book Bob, Cory (Hookedtrout) and Phillippe (frogz)

  29. Thanks Tim… You guys have no idea how close I was to heading down to Salina… Next year, Lord willing, it is a MUST! As it is, I may be at some show in K.C. at the end of Agust. May set up my art with a fabricator I'm working with from Hastings, NE. "Cusom Rides" is the company and I will be helping him with conceptial art… These loose Bettle sketches are early examples...
