What an exceptional year of new cars.
Didn't take any Pix, to busy trying to see all 8,500 (+) cars. This was a Great Show.
    See y'all next year.

I spent 2 days walking the fair grounds and did not see 75% of the cars you took pictures of, so thank you for providing pics of many of the cars I missed. Great job.

This is my third time at the Syracuse nationals and the best year yet! Gene Winfield walked up to the restaurant we were eating at. Hot Rod royalty sighting!

A few more pictures including the lady with the nice compliment my 56 got when we drove by. Her view kind of fits overall for this years show which has to be one of their best. Looking forward to next year.

it is nice to see a 1935-6 Ford HOT ROD. not a fan of the taildragger style that seems to be so popular these days.

    Nice cars Great people!
To bad, after all these years right coast can't get there crap together!
    Many people pissed!
We always had a good time in the past!
No problems, in past year, like this year!
Parking, and getting in and out of fairgrounds, was a mess!
A lot of people will not go back to the show, when it takes you an hour to get in and two hours.
    to get out!
It will hurt the show in the end!
All the years we have been going, never saw it like this! We have been the last 12 years.
We will have to think hard, if we want to go back next year?
Time to find somewhere else to go I guess?

I think the show has just gotten too big, like Lake George. When you have 8000+ cars trying to enter a two lane road all at once, there is no way to not have delays. We lined up to get in at 3:30am both Friday and Sat. and listened to the people arriving at 9am bitch about no parking space.
The show also is attracting a lot more vendors with huge trailers that take up a lot of prime parking space.

I think the volunteers did a wonderful job of keeping things as organised as they did. Yes,it was bedlam and yes it was so crowded you could hardly walk around, but damn ! it was FUN !!!!!!

Do you think it might the problem might be due to the fact most people want to arrive and leave at the same time. Don't blame it on the organization, I think they did a fine job handling the amount of vehicles that attended this great show. It does appear the show is out growing the Fairgrounds, may be they need to stop raising the cut off date which is now 1980.

This year I hit the jackpot.Got to attend the Gene Winfield Metal Shaping class about 30 miles north on Weds-Thurs,then the show the next three days.Found some swapmeet goodies, came home with around 6 bucks to spare.Meet a bunch of new friends, got a pile of contacts.
I saw Right Coast people everywhere. With a place that big things can be hard to keep up with.I personally saw a security guy put out a fire between some folks and quickly make things calm. You make the most of whats there and even a guy like me with measured patience can have a BLAST.There were a ton of new and different cars for every taste!!

If you have a chance to take a metal class when Gene is in your area ,DO IT

Well said^^.......I know Im not getting in line at 3:30 am just to wait 4 hours for the gate to open...... This was our first time attending and thought it was a great event...... we showed up at 8 am all three days and drove right in ......left at between 4:30-5 on fri/sat and there was minamal exit waiting....... We thought the staff and the event was very well run concidering the amount of cars on the grounds...... Ive been to events with half as much that where a mess

Glad I dont show my age...HaHa.... It was my coupe that was being shot for StreetRodder Magazine..... which was a team build between my shop ....Ross Racing Engines and Hilton Hotrods..... Tyler(Bobby's Son) was back working on racecars in Cincinatti.
