For sale – 1956 2-door Cadillac Series 62. Very solid and straight car. All stainless and chrome trim is present – if not shown installed in pics, it’s in the trunk. Rockers are solid. Floors are good. Trunk has 1 small rust hole. Driver side has some rust thru in the lower rear fender behind wheel well – shown in pics. Both rear fenders appear to have had some prior repair in front of the wheel wells. The interior panels are shot, but the hard to find trim pieces are all there. Seats are all good, just dusty, and faded pink (reupholstered sometime in the past). Front and rear glass is good. Most of the flat glass is broken. Car has original 365 Cadillac engine, but it’s stuck. Have 3 of 4 original wheels, and all 4 original hubcaps in excellent condition. The Buick wheels shown currently on front don’t go with the car. I have others with good tires though that will work for moving it around and getting it onto a trailer. Front and rear bumpers, grill, and fender skirts are there, just not installed. All dashboard stuff is present, including the autotronic eye. I haven’t found anything at all missing from this car, except for the air cleaner. It is VERY complete and a great project. The car comes with clear title, and some cool original paperwork from the original owner, including invoice from Frank Kent Cadillac in Ft. Worth Texas, original owner’s manual and accessory guide, instruction card for the autotronic eye, and some AAA & Midas papers from the 60’s.
