I am seeing more and more photos with the effect you have displayed here in yours. I don't really know how to describe it. IE: a wet, super glossy look? What software are you guys using to achieve this effect? It is so cool.

If I emailed you a pic of my car could you modify the look?

Phillippe (frogz) - that chopped bus is really cool! - I am getting shorter so perhaps I could ride it.

56shoebox - Thanks for your wonderful comment! I use a whole bunch of things and have a whole bunch of looks - some things work better with some pictures, others with others and so on. I do modify pictures of others on occasion. I will pm you about that.
rusty1 - wonderful sketch and presentation.
lowcab - Super cool! (yours always are)

hopefully the sticky will get set by someone.

 

One more than I'm going to kick back and enjoy the show… Tell a friend or fellow H.A.M.B. member I'm making these available soon. I have a lot more samples to share in the coming weeks, just need a little time to set up the process with my sister… These are designed for iPhone 4s but there are shells for onthe iPhnes and Galaxie and more...

OK...my 3rd try to post this shot. Picture from one of our local Saturday night car shows.

 

There is an upcoming show in So Cal called Ventura Nationals - formerly Primer Nationals. They need a poster and T-shirt design so guess who is scratching one? I did this on an 18x24 large piece of black inked board and scratched until it hurt.

 

It's a rainy Saturday morning here; so to reflect on that, here's 3 from me...

Just some small, quick pen sketches based on vintage photos for practice.





Ya, I know I got the proportions very wrong on this last one but that's what practice is for, right? I'm tempted to make a painting based on this last sketch but am leary of doing that based on someone else's photo, even if they probably aren't with us anymore.

Some more garbage from me ... literally.

Made this from salvaged materials. The yellow plastic wheels are pallet feet. The body is packing foam and the plywood, 2x4's and hardware are from the pallets themselves. The wheels (feet) are about 6" in diameter and 3" thick and bolt onto the truck with centered lag bolt. It remains a flat bed for now.

Not a riding toy!​
