Event Coverage Blue Suede Cruise... Whos Going (July 18-20)??

I go every year, this will be the first time with my car and I'm looking forward to it.

 

I havnt been there in a handful of yrs, how many cars show up on the show side now since the GoodGuys moved on ??

 

I'm not sure what was there last year maybe 400

 

We will be there. Our club member is in the build off with his 52 Chevy. The promoter says they have nearly 1,000 cars preregistered. The show is always a good time.

I will be there Saturday with my wife and daughter in our 32 sedan.

 

I don't know why more people don't go to this event...3 days of vintage racing...dinner on saturday night....The Vandells performed for 2 hours on saturday night,and after that,there was about a 25 minute fireworks display....door prizes all weekend...super prizes on sunday,including a 4 carat diamond tennis bracelet.lazy boy reclining chair,lincoln welders,$1000 in paint supplies....plus whatever I forgot....and about 2000 show cars.
for next year they are adding more cash prizes and are going to build a 33-34 on premise all weekend,drive it down the track on sunday...turn it around and give it away!!.....pre register and it is only $20....they already have 1100 pre-registered for next year.

I wasn't aware this event still going on after Goodguys left. Who and where promotes it?
