Well I guess I should tell all who and what I am. My name is James and am 33. Have been into cars as long as I can remember. when I was a kid and even now the thing I remember about a great show or movie is the cars. Can't tell you the actors, but know the cars they drove.(cool ones only) Have owned all different types of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Last car was a 72 VW bug that was going to get volksroded. Sold it to buy wife 46" LCD and laptop I did sell my VW trike along with it and just picked up a 1947 Dodge D24. Just got her yesterday and man is she sexy. I just want to pull up a chair in the garage and satire at her all night. This one might be the end of my marriage, but did I mention the D24 is sexy O' well It is kind of hard to find a 61 yr old car in good shape Will more than likely ask questions and pick your brains. I will try to help where and when I can. If anyone wants to get together and shoot the s#^& I am always around. Work on the 47 will be slow going since I can only work on it in short bursts. I had back surgery about 2 yrs back and the nerves are shoot and back is screwed up. Guess I am lucky I can still walk and not in diapers. I still love cars and will do as much as my body will let me. Any way enough about my sad storey Here are some pics of the new member of the family.
Hey Slonaker I see your pics were taken at the old K-Mart by the Penskie bays off IH35 and O'Connor. Is this the side of town you are from? I live up the road in Selma behind the Rudy's BBQ. Need to get together shoot the sh*#. We need to go grab some wings up the road at Hooters.
Yep. That's the location. I do live on that side of town. Yeah, I'll have to check out your Mopar. I bought a '49 Coronet years ago. Dragged it all over town as I moved around. Never did anything to it in 10+ years, so I sold it. Slonaker
