So I waited a while to start this build thread (started the build in January 2013), so the build did not happen as fast as the pictures may imply. Hahahah
So, I collected parts for about 2 yrs and then got my buddy in TN to build this for me while I was deployed last year.
I would like to first thank everyone who helped me along the way on and off the HAMB over the last few years with either parts or advice….here’s a short list in no particular order:
Ray, Guido Grease Rag, Johnny Cocke, Tom “the truck driver not the singer” Jones, Hellbilly, Throttle Jockey, Larry Pearsall, mentalstates, evil1, bercadawg, blackie, zman, Mike Pee-wee Herrmann (I know I still owe you tequila, lol), 56sedandelivery, nassuablue65, if I missed anyone sorry.
The idea was to build a nice traditional style hotrod that is comfortable and driveable,
    It’s a ‘31 Model A Coupe body on a 32 frame, ’64 401 Buick Nailhead with a switch pitch tranny.
I ll explain the build as I post pics.
The plan is to have it finished and take it to the Redneck Rumble in Lebanon TN in September.

3.5 inches off the top and add a cowl vent from a 30's buick, figured a little a/c would be ok.

Nice build! Post some more pics of those tires when you get them mounted up. I've been curious how the front runners look from there.
