Amid the plethora of Ford roadsters anything else tends to stand out. What do you have, what do you lust after that is non Ford? I am really talking about real roadsters here made by the factory or a coach builder - not hacked up anything else. Roadsters with side curtains - rather than convertibles with crank up windows and mainly up to 1940. I am going to start with my 1933 Willys roadster - one of 74 examples built in Australia by Holden Body Builders. What have you got, what do you lust after? Post 'em up....

1934 Terraplane roadster from Australia - the Aussies produced lots of interesting body styles.

  12. image.jpg Here's a great old Essex roadster that I saw on the Yorke Peninsula. The owner was showing it to the residents of the local old folks home. How good is that?

Complete with owner engineered flathead - cool or what?

mgtstumpy I wish you wouldn't keep posting photos of the '32 Chevy Moonlight Speedster with mother-in-law seat - I lust after it way too much for my own good! Here are a few more pix from the interweb thingy....

Somebody post up pics of the 70's built 34 Mopar roadster on a 32 Ford frame. It was a cover car on a RnC or Rod Action. A darker yellow color.

That LHD clone of a RHD car is supposedly a nice car in the flesh, so I've heard from local Chevy people who know of it. Car is actually aluminium body not steel. 32 Speedster 5.JPG 32 Speedster dash1.jpg 32MoonlightLHD.jpg 32 Speedster front.jpg 20130714_113841.jpg

  23. This is a 1935 Terraplane roadster. Aussie market car only. Not avail. in US.

I found this as well (from 2005), wonder if this is the same car?

“Coast To Coast Road Tour 2005” was painted on the side of this yellow and red 1933 Dodge Roadster, which belongs to Lake City resident Jim Niblett. It got a Rodders Rep pick, and also has steelie rims with baby moons, a black vinyl interior, and a 360 Dodge V-8.

Not the same car. The R&C cover car is a real roadster, but the 2005 car is a coupe with the roof cut off. Notice the door hinges are in different places. And, why would he have removed the '32 Ford frame?

This gorgeous Dodge roadster was on the cover of the very first issue of Hop Up magazine in 1951. Never saw the car again; always wondered what became of it.
