DSCN1757.JPG DSCN1753.JPG DSCN1760.JPG DSCN1747.JPG '31 Model A coupe, 1948 flattie with Navarro heads, 400 Jr. cam., center dump headers.Running the stock cast intake with one 94 for now, Navarro "Universal" intake with two 97's later.Motor done at Rayco Machine, Amesbury Mass. by Dr. Rick LaPlante. 5 speed s-10 tranny, GM rear with 273 gears. This started out as a low buck car with flat black brushed on paint, was then going to be done with real paint(black running gear with a dark maroon body), and this is how it ended up( don't ask me, it just did).Time for road tests and de-bugging, but thought I'd throw it to the dogs and see who bites. If I ever learn how to use the computer and the new HAMB, I've got tons of pictures.

Add fenders and running boards and it would be EXACTLY the kind of car I want to end up with.

Great looking job and car buddy.

Pedal assy. is TCI with hydraulic clutch( new to me but thought I'd give it a try) color is Ford p.u. green P-4 I think, and black with flat clearcoat.Intake will be upgraded, and stock fenders are living in the overhead right now.I was thinking "bobbed" rears and cycle fenders on front?? Thanks for the positive feedback- kind words and willing friends sure help! Mike from Mass. View attachment 2662736 [/ATTACH] DSCN1582.JPG

Yea, this one needs to be at the top again. Very nice build. Your color combination absolutely works. Keep it fenderless btw.

Really like the satin finish on your coupe...mind telling what you used to achieve it?
Also, what's that color...hard to tell on the computer...looks great.

Sorry the firewall doesn't do it for you- I like to use white because a good friend of mine told me "If you paint it white, it'll look like crap". After that I had to. Color is a Ford p.u. green (P-4 I think,'80's color) and it's got clearcoat with flattener over it.Not really what I had expected, but I'm getting used to it.The car was originally going to be flat black(boring), then maroon with black running gear, and it ended up green and black and white.???

    Nice job!

I like it, basic with just enough little touches to make it "yours". Either bobbed rears and cycle fronts or fenderless would go just as well in my opinion.

Will we get a chance to see it in the real at the TY-Rods meet this Sept?
