  1. I was at a show this weekend in Carbonear, Newfoundland and took a few pics of Andy's Model A. For those of you who knew Andy and contributed to this project you are not forgotten by Andy's family and the local car community. Thank you. carbonear show 008.JPG carbonear show 009.JPG carbonear show 010.JPG carbonear show 011.JPG carbonear show 012.JPG carbonear show 013.JPG

  5. Andy was such a great kid and brought a lot of Hamber's together for a wonderful cause.

He was a real trooper and his story, his courage despite his short time with us and his love of traditional hot rods made a lasting impression on me like so many others..We miss you HAMBANDY! HRP

One of the coolest things ever done on the internet. When people tell you internet forums are bull shit, refer them to Andy's thread.

Everyone who worked so hard to make this young man's life a lot happier should feel very good about what they did. It is certainly a sad story but it would have been a lot sadder without all of the people who took him under their wings and fulfilled his dream.

    RIP.

Great thread, I was just a lurker on here when the car was built but I remember how great it was seeing a bunch of people come together to make his dream come true.

  23. I would have liked to be able to say I had been part of helping Andy but it was before I was a HAMB member. Reading through the HAMBANDY threads really makes me extra proud to be part of the HAMB and as someone stated, this seems to have been the HAMBs finest hour. You all are good people for pulling together and fulfilling this young hot rodders dream. Life can be so darned tragic but the goodness that was shown will shine on forever.
