    GERMAN FLATHEAD 1943 WW2 military truck engine allows for coolant to exit more at rear of block I think.

    Picked this up from a member 5 months ago. Got it cleaned out, new carb gasket set, oil pans and head gaskets, new plugs. Came up with this, :)



    has since been torn down, checked, and painted. Going to put it in a 47 Ford Pickup you see in the back round.

  17. A few pic's of my Twin Plug Flathead fitted with " HOGAN " heads and Nash Twin 8 distrubutor.
    If you need a set of Twin plug heads i will be listing a few sets of these New " HOGAN " heads in parts for sale in the next few days. Watch out for these.

    Has anybody done any before and after testing to see how much the twin plug heads improve HP?

    Nut rocker, are the plug wire numbers a hand made thing, or something you purchased? I found a partial old set very similar to yours and would love to find more. Mine are made of aluminum.

    Mine are just bits of small copper tube, cut through, opened up then number stamped, slid over the wires and clamped back up. Pretty simple, but took ages.

    don't kno how to post pix, have v-8 60 SPENCER heads and SMITH JIGGLERS, 1/2 flathead 1/2 ov head, air cooled.
