Ok, saw something about this in the past. Did a search, couldn't find what I was looking for. Have an AD p/u, want to swap out the front axle for an IFS, and would like to stay away from clips (don't like them) and MII, would like to go old school, remember reading that a 50 something will adapt fairly easy. Plus, since it was the same suspension as used on Vettes up to 62, can say I have a "Vette" front end under it. Anyone have any idea what that thread was? And what year cars? I would imagine 49 and up, which is fine, since I have two 50's out in the field. Thanks.
