Looks like an oil pump driveshaft for priming an engine, how long is the shaft/shank?

Ok I don't know why all the post but maybe they will ignore the rest until I figure out how to remove them. Do you mean the depth of the notch?

There is no shaft just a handle like a screwdriver.

  9. If not for brake shoe springs, something similar. There were valve spring keepers that were a pin that slipped through a cross hole in the valve stem. I remember them in an old Fairbanks-Morse engine my dad had way back.

Thanks for the tip... I'm using the HAMB AP on my phone and that does not seem to be an option. It gives me the option to go to web view but once there I see no option to delete just edit the title and text.

Can't tell by the pic but when I worked for Ford making lamps we seated a lot of twist clips and adjusters with tools that look close to that

Thanks for the input guys. I knew once the smoke cleared from the HAMB AP posting this a bagillion times someone would know.

Looks like it's a brake spring tool.
