That's a great idea running the temperature probe line through the clamp on the outlet pipe. I have one I'm putting in my Dad's Coupe soon and have been thinking about how to route it all week.

Here's one that we just finished up. Not the most traditional but the customer didn't want anything shiny at all. We like to use allot of different finishes for detail.

  7. Dave Jenkin's A-Brothers built '57 Chevy. Most all the chrome was done in the late 50's and early 60's and still looks great.

  11. Are those a pair of recently cast Hogan heads? What dizzy are you running? Couple of years back I modified a flathead dizzy with a Nash cap to run with those heads for Garth, he plans to get them CnC'ed and sell them as a package, it's A very nice set up you have

  15. Nothing seems more wrong to me than seeing a nicely detailed motor get passed over by show judges for a block with casting flange covered by chrome and/or billet accessories.

It takes me about an hour to grind off the flash and warts on a SBC block and heads. About two days for a full polish. That should be worth more judging points than a chrome plated oil pan from China.

Nothing special, just a stock resto of the engine bay on my 52 customline. I used eastwoods single stage "flathead red" on the rebuilt engine, blasted n repainted everything and a macs cloth coated wiring harness ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1404092801.392846.jpg
