What's the age of HAMBERS that own pre 48 rides?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by felix37, Jun 14, 2009.

  1. I'm 44 and building a 29 A RPU banger, the oldest vehicle remains I have owned. My dream of 25 years of owing a mostly original steel traditional hotrod slowly becoming a reality.

Will be 67 in a few months and I have two projects in the garage. 1) 33 Chevy Pickup and 2) 1936 Chevy Standard Coach. Disability does not help the situation but I hope to get the 36 going in the future. I call the 36......, "Last Ride"................Jeff

One of the youngster here at a mere 59 years old.
In a few months I can start raiding my 401k to buy the engine of my dreams for the P-15 Plymouth.

    ;)

Anyhow I have a '47 Plymouth in parts, and a '63 IHC Scout in "survivor" mode (rusty in spots, and currently stuffed full of Plymouth parts.) :D

  10. 36 here and I've had prewar cars since my 20's. Three T's & an A. All but one were period perfect hop ups. Now just down to one 40's style T roadster (still in progress)

26, at this stage I have two 1/2 ton ford pickups, a 46 and 47 which are in bits. There is the 49 Cosmo and a 69 big block Camaro to round out the post 48'.

This is how you compute the Median Age...not the Average Age. Average would equal the sum of all ages divided by the total number of members counted. Without a doubt, the answer will be different.

    Best regards,

I'm 67 and building a '36 hump back. I like it all! There isn't much on the car I won't try to do, but I do recognize when I need tools I don't have or skills not yet developed. Just about ready for paint. This is going to be a nice street rod!
