Rick a while back you mentioned you were able to get ORANGE 4 bar suspension bushings from Pete&Jakes. Mine were in rough shape so I had Mike Goodman of Honest Charley get me a set for my coupe.(I hang out with these guys when they come to the Auto Fair @ Charlotte,NC) Put them on with P&J chrome bolt kit and it really looks good. Got to keep the coupe a little more original. Don't know how many more they have. Thanks again for this thread...................................

    Thanks 26hotrod-
The orange bushings in my opinion really made a difference on the Sedan. We were fortunate to get them from Pete & Jake's. I believe they are making them again.

Not much going on other than going to small local events and driving to our group lunches.
I saw the tribute car ad and noticed not a lot of action on it. I guess that means that I'll just have to keep the Sedan.:D

Just wondering. How far east would you consider driving the sedan for any show or event? Or have you planed on something already??

I just wonder how far from SoCal The E&B shirts have congregated. I finally stopped mourning about the washout at Bonneville Speedweek this year and downloaded some shots I took. You will notice only 3 soles in the shot. The missing person not standing to the right or left is none other than our friend Mickey Ellis. He is smart enough and close enough to check the weather every day and not drive 700+ E&B at the salt 1.jpg E&B at the salt 1.jpg miles to enjoy the south shore of lake Bonneville. How about it guys, anybody have more shirts worn and further away from SoCal than 700 miles?

Good work Reindeer! Well even though I don't have the actual mileage to Finland figured out, I am pretty sure it tops the 7oo from Tehachapi, Ca to B'ville. NOW, anybody got a bigger count than three and not just at the GNRS or LARS. If the weather had held, we expected about 7 shirts there. Rick how many shirts are out there so far?

I wore mine to the grocery store yesterday, and the gal behind me in line was kinda tugging at it. I spun around and she looked embarrassed and said that she was trying to figure out just what it WAS on my shirt... Delores, the young gal runnin' the checkout stand said "It's an old Hot Rod!" "Mr. Quinn is our resident hot rodder. Who else loses their steering wheel in here once a week?"! They know me too well...

Good thing she was looking at the back. If it was the front she was looking at, the correct response would have been "gravy".:D

I should be in the running for the most miles on an E&B shirt. 12-14K miles a month , so more than 1/4 million miles

Yeah on the boyish figure (read that as big shoulders developed by the 101st Airborne after 3 yrs of training in the 60s). The 26 coupe is a good incentive for me to keep my weight down. So far it has worked.....................

Rick&Pete, thanks so much for sharing this build on the sedan as a lot of us will probably never be able to see it. No doubt the California style of hot rods has influenced a lot us across the country including the sedan. Now for one more request. A video.......You don't know how much a good video would be appreciated. It would be neat if your son could shoot it. I am talking a walk around and a highway shot if possible . Thanks again.....................................
