Cecil 2014020.jpg Had a fun day at Cecil County Dragway with Ken & Kendra Godsey. Sadly Ken got a red eye in Round 1. But he did make a couple nice passes & no breakage.....Mike

Thanks Roy thats close to his 9.65 in PA........Al

  8. I think Ken went a 9.61 at over 141. I know he ran a new best Saturday. There was a problem with the clocks which delayed the start time and we all only got one qualifier then right into eliminations. I would have liked to see Ken get more runs at Cecil. I know he would have went even faster if he did.

Roy you have such a positive attitude! That had to have hurt something when it arrived back on all fours, the car has very little ground clearance......Al

Man this brings back memories. I had one in yellow and could never listen to the radio with the fiberglass hood allowing radio interference something awful. I tried everything, condensers, carbon wires, grounding the screen door mesh molded on the bottom of the hood above the hood bracing, even had some ham radio buddies look into it and nobody could ever fix it.

Looking for any info or pics on a 64 Comet raced on the east coast in 1964/1965 sponsored by Manchester Mercury in South Richmond Virginia. Driven at some point by Lloyd Talley of Richmond and connected somehow to Dan Weis, founder of Richmond Dragway. Any help would be appreciated. I am told the car was red.
