  1. A very clean machine! Nice lines and the black and white is just too cool!

08, what kind of wheels are those. Would really look good on my '40 2dr. Thanks.

No such thing as a 'crappy" '32.

I'll have my '32 until I am pushing up daises in a human bone yard, but those two shots of your '29 make me realize there are TWO roadsters that all of us should own, and at the same time.

You can never have enough roadsters. I'd like to add a 32 and a 36 to the garage as we'll.

Very nice!! Congrats on a Cool Build !!

  14. Instead of changing the screen.. pie cut the posts just above the top mounting bolt, and lean them back! I ended up with about an 8mm pie cut in my posts.. and it looks perfect. It changed the look of the car like you wouldn't believe.

My screen is chopped 4", as are the posts. I don't know what yours would be but 4" chop with a lean is my favourite look for a roadster.

28a I think that is the route i may end up going. It would be easier to run a top also.

  17. Can you post a couple of shots of the steering from the other side of the firewall? Interested in seeing how you ran the steering shaft. THANKS.

Love your 29, like both windshield, but am partial to the V windshield. Am curious how do you did the top rail over the dash and tie it all in. I also have a29 on 32 rails with windshield payed back and would like to go to V style windshield any ideas would be a big help thanks.

    1-Shot,
The car with the V-Windshield is actually not mine. It was Nimrods old car. I have not gotten that far with mine yet. I'd like to figure out a way to run both windshields, so I can change it up and also run a top sometimes.

Man, I'm not sure how I missed this thread. I have always meant to stop you at stuff and tell you how much I love this car! The stance is just about perfect, and we are on the same page as far as keeping the passengers down in the car and legroom and such.

I like your idea about changing out the windshield so you can put a top on. I guess you could fab up some post so they mount off the cowel stubs and it seems like you would need to mount it in the center to the cowel in the area of the gas cap, just a idea. Keep up the good work. Frank

  25. Thanks. I was interested in how you got the wheel to its more vertical orientation as compared to most. I see now, after going back and studying the shots of the shaft support system inside the car, how you did it.

Thanks for the pics...really dig your roadster!

    Thanks Guys!
I'm glad I could pay it forward in any small amount after all the help I have had here on the HAMB.

Wow...I really like your car...those whitewalls and 'white' artillery wheels really give it a visually fine look if my opinion!....great 'era' look:)

The leaned back windshield looks great!
I have a few questions, since I'm switching from the Hallock to a similar setup to yours. I'm also planning on adding a top.

-Did you chop it more, too?
-What height did you end up with at the center of the windshield frame?
-Are those the hard to find adjustable 'orchard' stanchions?
