This guy bought this Ford and had his buddies push him (with a flat tire) to his swap spot for resale.

 

Not really a HAMB car, but interesting story on this Vicky. Some guy took a bone stock Vicky to a shop and told them to make it a nice driver. They kept sending him bills and running up the cost. He died before it completed, but not before they rang up $225,000 in charges. His daughter took it out of the shop still needing finishing. They were asking $50K with no takers. Check out the ostrich skin roof! HAMBers tend to build their own cars, so this wouldn't happen.

 

I'm always amazed at the stuff at this swap meet every year! Thanks for the pictures for us who couldn't make it!

That old roadster is going to auction, it may be the one in in Glendale later this month. it has an estimate of 100k-120k value.
