Is the tread up and running like it should? It seems like no one is posting. How come we are on page 733 and not where we were before the update?

I'll bet the people in charge of page count were the same one's that used to do the scoring at the Little 500 back in the '60's.

Black vette 59, I believe they have lengthened the pages. Which accounts for the scoring error Easter mentions :D

I saw sprinters at Casper, Wyoming on the 6th, and woke up the next morning to find a pair of them out of Montana on an open trailer in the parking lot where I was staying. Pretty cool. Also, Gene Novotny's car was out, from Casper, with Chad Petersen driving. Gene has owned a sprint car continuously since 1952, competing in the IMCA glory days, first with a Lincoln V-12, and then with a Wayne equipped GMC. The Pike's Peak Hillclimb was also an annual event for him. The last Jimmy powered car, a yellow #3, is in Bill Smith's museum, on loan. He is extremely enthusiastic about the Jimmys, and will talk to you all day long about them.

Does anybody have contact info for Richard Corrow in Phoenix Az? He ran his Kurtis midget at the vintage Indy event on the road course. I would like to ask some questions about it as I am going to try and run mine on the road course next year. Thanks

Love the photo of Bryan Clauson's open trailer loaded with everything to go racing.

I miss the old day's more with each passing day.

Things are slow here. I posted a pic of Bill Cook last week in the car they are restoring for me. 48 years later

I always like how the cook cars had a separate cowl.

Ben and Bill Cook were 16 years old in 1966 when they first built this sprint. It was their first car. Jimm Etter found it for me and now the original builders are doing a great job of taking it to it`s original livery. Including all the correct hardware that they got from their father, Ben 11,
    even some rare supertainium bolts.
The car will be 100% correct, lucky me!!!
