LEE KAY is going to kill me but I have to post these pics!!

I was at his shop today picking up some parts and he let me snap a few pics of his"project".

I cannot wait to get to work on building my 33!

Lee Kay has got to be one of the absolute best metal gods around!

He took a mold from an entire 1933 willys coupe and hand forms each piece and of course the 40 shell as well.

Awesome job! Was the whole rear missing on the body and did he build it from scratch? That is some incredible work!

If I were 18-29 years old I would apprentice under one of the great metal men and learn that craft. I'm continually amazed at the talent displayed by some of the projects we get the chance to observe here on the HAMB.

Looks like a heap of 1933 willys coupe rust is headed my way. Hey Lee can I interest you in a 36 sedan body?

Lee is a bad MOFO! He's done SO much for me I hope someday I can do something nice for him. My 40 willys coupe would not be built without him.
