currently I have the engine all apart, going through everything to get her to run. Pat at wilcap engineering made me an adapter plate to mate the w block to the 700r4 using a fancy pants starter, and did an awesome job, everything fits like a dream. Right now my weeknight project is going through all the carburetors. Rebuilding, eliminating un-necessary parts in the outer 4 dumpers, giving them a nice little bath and a coat of eastwood carb renew, fresh gaskets and paint on risers and arms, and stainless case screws. Along with some Stelling and Hellings air cleaners. Takes forever to do it right but i think it's worth it. The one in the back is fresh out of the carb cleaner with the old stacks.

Finally got settled in Alameda in a nice little 2 car garage behind my house. (4th move in one year) Been working like crazy on the house and getting the garage ready to finish the car in. It was a shell of a barn with no power when i moved in and now it's finally ready for whatever i can throw at it. small update with her sitting in her new home Screen Shot 2014-10-30 at 4.22.58 PM.png

Made some decent progress over the weekend, finished up the rebuild on all the carbs and got started on the fuel delivery, and linkage setup. Couple of extra shots in there of the dash and inners just for fun. as always, been super busy but managing to make some good progress in my nights and weekends. Always an uphill battle to get any time.

Engines all in done with it's little make over and in the car. I still got a few hours left on the headers but I'm getting pretty happy with how they're turning out. Made some little heat shields out of stainless perforated and some 1/4 rod too that i think look pretty sharp. oh and a glovebox out of 16a that i'll be mounting the fuse panel to.

found some coil suppressed cloth braided plug wire that works with electronic ign and made some wires, also made some pretty nifty little plug looms out of stainless line clamps and rod, with little hand filed lightning bolts to index them and keep em from spinning. 8.jpg 7.jpg 6.jpg 5.jpg

ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1431734695.089104.jpg started playing with a small stretch of flex to connect the headers and lakes. Actually not too bad to work with

I hope that the Ridler judges notice the metalflaked wheel wells. Total attention to detail is outstanding.

Nothing too exciting but i managed to get the fuel lines done this weekend. All 3/8 stainless with swagelok fittings. Theres a holley fuel pressure reg mounted up at the front of the frame. Brake lines are almost done as well and i'll have more to look at soon. I still gotta build the posi, finish exhaust and polish, paint and assemble all the brakes, and wire it, but all in all the car is just about ready to fill up and fire! Getting really excited ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1431966182.894739.jpg
