new phrase , remember when mowing the lawn was safe and racing was dangerous ??? ( new excuse not to mow the lawn ) sorry to hear about your injuries take your time and heal proper , I lost a friend several years back to a tractor roll over while mowing , one never thinks it will happen , once you exceed the 15* plane its easy , made me look into a rollover protection device for ours . basically its a funny car cage for a tractor . hopefully I will never need it .

  17. It's been a month now.....3 weeks at hospitals and one at home.....gonna take a while to get my act together....glad that I have a good crew at work to keep things going, eases my mind a bit. This PT is interesting stuff to make my body work correctly again....slow and steady does it.

Was out in the hangar earlier....checking out the little Flathead FED.....wow, I was able to get in and out of that ?.....haha.....well, that is just one goal that I have....I WILL be getting back in the drivers seat by DOTD.....hahaha, show that danged ol tractor whose boss around here !!!

I have gotten lots of calls and supportive words.....Thanks to each and Every one of you.....it really does make a difference

Glad you are home, buddy.........................that'll make you heal faster! see 'ya at DOTD!

  22. I had major knee reconstruction and was back in a stock car in 3 weeks, good you are doing that, big therapy in itself. The hardest part was walking to the NASCAR shack and signing in, then walking to the pits without my cane.

  23. good to hear your out and mending.....slow and easy does it......until DOTD....

Glad to hear your moving around Skot. Give your self a little more time before you teach that tractor a thing or two. Just concentrate on feeling that surge of acceleration in that rail of yours.

Just found this thread and while I do know Skot, this is the first I've heard of the tractor accident. Although this is coming five weeks late, add my prayers to the rest for a very speedy recovery.
