Technical Hot Hard Start

    Gerry Burger needs more influence on the magizine,he might be able to pull them outta their nose dive
     
  2. not recommended. I'm a nailhead lover, everything I've read say no.
    I have a nailhead powered 29 a,just on the road this week. same exact setup you have. brand new 750 edelbrock running crappy. mechanic friend popped the top off float level & drop were way off plus they have the leanest metering rods, went up one step richer. plus some of the jets weren't tight. runs like a champ now. this may not be your problem, then again.

    Some guys will drill, tap, and plug the two exhaust holes.

    These engines originally came with a stainless steel plate under the carb. This is available at CARS and sold as a "carb baffle." I use this baffle on all of my nailhead engines. But, adding the phenolic spacer essentially does the same thing.
