Roy, I've been working hard on it all winter (at least thats what I told my wife I was doing in the garage all day). I really need to clean up all the clutter around it and take a few pictures, or get it down on all 4s & roll it outside for a photo op. Looking forward to seeing Ken at Cecil County Saturday, hope Eric comes with him.....Mike

Roy, a neighbor of mine had the good fortune to find Drake Viscome's Vindicator '65 Falcon. He's doing a "preservation" on it. Not a bright & shinny, spit & polish "restoration" but all the right parts with the faded paint & lettering and all the character of a true fighter that has been worked hard. Check out his pics over on the Falcon thread.....Mike

ClearSpot, My memory is a little fuzzy on the roll bar issue but I was not required to have one when I set the D/S record (12.98) in '65 or running low 11's in SS/B & SS/C in '67. I don't think the FX cars were required until they started running 9's although some had them earlier by choice.....Mike

As i said it did not have a roll bar when it left stroppes per 1964 rules , but rules changed every year and i'm sure roll bars were changed accordingly to stay legal to run

I really feel sorry for the poor guys that just had their cars parked at the show.

That would really not make my day. Jimbo

DSCN6377.JPG DSCN6387.JPG DSCN6382.JPG Took the Comet today to Henry's Greenfield Village for the weekend Motor Muster. It'll be full of cars all weekend. Any Comet folks coming into Dearborn for the T-Bolt reunion,I highly recommend you spend a day here. Myron_
