One of the things I like about this thread is pictures posted from family albums that no one has seen before. These pictures come from an album of my Aunt who was born in 1897. The album started in 1914 in San Antonio Texas.

    Can anyone identify this car?

People have always enjoyed their cars.

This photo reminds of the movie "Paper Moon".

Here in Aust, we often refer to them as just Bottle-Shops, hence the Aussification to Bottlo
Of course, most pubs here have Drive-In Bottle-Shops attached to them.
Funny, drive-in banks never took off here, but bottle-shops.....?, you know it makes sense.

Has anyone else noticed that we seem to have misplaced about 1600 pages in this thread? Oh well, at least we can still post and read stuff.
    Cheers.

Seemed to be between 10.00 and 11.30 GMT on Monday. I thought I was having a senior moment at the time when I went from one page to the next and "lost" 1600 pages!!!

  25. #92352 Highway scene: Any idea what all the commotion was? I'm guessing the opening of a new road or bridge.
